The Resilience Project: Leveraging the Energy of Connection

Thankful

When your day starts out rough like mine did today, just taking 5 minutes to write down 3 things you are thankful for can make all the difference. Sometimes I don't sleep well, and that was the case last night. Today I don't feel like my best self. However, I grabbed my journal and coupled with my coffee and a nice pen, I create a bit of positivity to start my day.

The 3 good things practice is well-known, you may have heard of it. The problem is most of us don't do it. I find that I'm most compelled to consider it when I don't feel my best. This practice elevates your life. It's good to do it even when you're feeling ok or even good, because you can feel great! This practice also helps you to avoid taking the amazing things in your life for granted. You don't know how long you will have them, sink into and enjoy and appreciate them!

Here's the official word from Martin Seligman! It takes 1 minute to watch it.
